Meet the Man Behind the Books
My life’s passion has been piloting various aircraft to different locations all over the world. My first flight was at age fourteen, four decades ago. I have been a flight instructor, charter pilot, regional airline pilot, simulator instructor, and now a captain for a major airline.
Over the twenty-five-plus years with the airlines, I’ve successfully handled hundreds of emergencies in the simulator and dozens of actual emergencies in aircraft. While I have had other areas of interest in my life, writing has been the only one that even equaled my passion for flying.
The concept of the Hard Turn series was first imagined ten years ago, but life got in the way. With the addition of a supportive wife, I returned to the pursuit of my passion for writing. Departures, and the rest of the Hard Turn Series was the result.
With Beverly at my side, I strive to continue to write the rest of the Hard Turn series and of course, fly passengers and cargo safely to international destinations.
